On this tour you will explore the mighty
Sognefjord:
Half the joy of the
Sognefjord is the many charming and eye-
catching villages along the 204 km long
fjord – such as Balestrandwhere you will
stay one night in the historic Kvikne`s

Try Balestrand and the Sognefjord:

  Duration: 4 days or more if you would like to spend more time on your trip.
Season: Daily from 02.05 to 30.09
 

Day1: Individual arrival to Oslo.
Explore Oslo on your own. Maybe visit the Viking museums,
Holmenkollen Ski Jump and the Vigeland Sculptur Park.
Overnight and breakfast at Hotel Opera or similar in Oslo.

Day 2: In the morning take the senic Bergen Railway to
Myrdal. Change train and continue with the famous Flåm
Railway to Flåm. When you arrive in Flåm you have some
time to spend on your own, maybe enjoy a nice lunch.
Continue on a magnificient fjordcruise on the mighty
Sognefjord to Balestrand and spend the night and enjoy
a lovely dinner buffet at the historic Kvikne`s Hotel, dating
back to 1877.

 

In Balestrand you can relax in peace and quiet, visit
exhibitions, join a fjord cruise, or be more active by hiking
in the mountains or fishing in the fjord.

 

Day 3: Morning or afternoon cruise from Balestrand to
Bergen. Enjoy the afternoon/ evening in Bergen and visit
the Fishmarket, the wharf, fløien and maybe Troldhaugen.
The home of the famous Composer Edward Grieg.
Overnight at Hotel Augustin or similar.

Day 5: Breakfast at the hotel. End of service.
